This book is Jim Corbett's own story of his experience with man eating tigers of Kumaon. In the Kumapn hills, man eating tigers have lomg been the scourge and terror of the tiny villages and jungles. Whole communities became disorganized when the dread man-eaters, madden by wounds or hunger, struck suddenly and with deadly results,carrying off people and their cattle.
